Hope Valley August 1998 Bandit joined us for our family camping trip at Hope Valley. We were quite comfortable and safe in our car seats for the long ride to the scenic location in the California Sierras near Lake Tahoe. |

| Bandit and I posed on a rock near the river with Grandma. When Grandma & Shiela picked us up Mom was there again with her camera ... it seems Mom's always too busy snapping the camera to get in the picture! |

Everyone had fun at the swimming hole. It was Bandit's & Sasha's first time swimming, but I stayed high and dry on the rocks! |

That's me on the rock with Russ, Tyla, Sasha, Shiela and Cliff. Bandit and I had fun playing ball in the campsite and chased each other over the beds in the tent - when they let us in! We helped Grandma with her solataire and watched Dad and
Cliff play backgammon (boring!). Another afternoon I snoozed in my chair and Sasha collapsed in Russ's lap. Playing at 7,000 ft. wears a dog out! Our last night's campfire was the best. We all decided to come back to Hope Valley again next year.
After camping, we moteled it in Minden one night before heading
home. I needed a rest from Bandit, but he followed me everywhere!
Finally ... a picture of Mom, but not until we were on our way home! We stopped in Bishop at a park.
