I enjoyed the fall colors along Hwy. 395 from the safety of my new car seat. The view of the Carson Valley was breathtaking.

We visited Genoa, a little town in the Sierra foothills. It's the oldest town in Nevada and was originally called Mormon Station. Click for a closer look Click for a closer look

This is the town square in Minden.
I had fun playing ball and running through leaves. It was a great place for a picnic

Mom took a quick picture of me at Lake Tahoe. I didn't like the water, so I stayed on high ground. We hiked at Hope Valley which is 0n Hwy. 88 in the Carson Pass along the West Fork of the Carson River. We had a picnic there - in the spot  where my mom used to camp when she was a kid.
